Abstract: »Christin Zühlke investigates how sexualized violence war perceibed by Leyb Langfus, who was forced to work as park of Auschwitz-Birkenau's Sonderkommando. This article focuses on a short Yiddish passage written by Langfus during his forced labor. This brief, but important, text passage describes acts of sexual violence against victims in graphic detail. Zühlke's study presents the gendered experiences that resulted from the scene, as described from both male and female perspectives.
